Shein lawsuit accuses fast-fashion site of RICO violations - CBS News

A new lawsuit accuses online fashion retailer Shein of copyright infringement amounting to racketeering, violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The lawsuit, filed on behalf of three designers, claims that Shein sells exact copies of copyrighted designs as part of its efforts to offer 6,000 new items daily. Shein, with annual sales of nearly $30 billion, has declined to comment on the pending litigation. This comes after the company faced allegations of forced labor and other labor violations.
