The complaint states that Aritzia has displayed identical sculptures in its stores, digital media, and advertising campaign. Tangle also claims that copies of the sculptures were disseminated to millions of consumers through social media. In addition to seeking monetary damages, Tangle is asserting copyright infringement and trade dress infringement causes of action.
