TTABlog Test: How Did These Three "Colorful" Section 2(e)(1) Mere Descriptiveness Cases Turn Out?

Three recent decisions were made regarding the mere descriptiveness prong of Section 2(e)(1). In one opposition case, the refusal of the mark "GREY MARKET" for entertainment services was upheld. In another opposition case, the registration of "CREMA BELLA" for pavers was opposed on grounds of mere descriptiveness. Lastly, the proposed mark "KECHRIBARI" for wines was refused on the same grounds.
