Yesterday, the Munich Local Division of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) held its first patent infringement hearing in history. The case involves 10x Genomics v. NanoString. The court heard arguments from both plaintiffs and defendants and will announce its decision on September 19 after another hearing on a different patent. The court seemed to agree with the plaintiffs' claim construction.
