OPPO wins in Swedish court as two of Nokia's standard-essential patents (on which it prevailed in Mannheim) are declared invalid; also, Nokia's UK SEP injunction can't be enforced pending appeal

Nokia and OPPO have been involved in a lengthy dispute over patent injunctions. However, the recent rulings from the Swedish Patent and Market Court have declared two of Nokia's standard-essential patents invalid. This may make it harder for Nokia to enforce its patents, and suggests that the ongoing dispute may be better resolved by settlement. The key jurisdiction for resolution may be China, as the court in Chongqing is expected to make a FRAND determination soon.
