UK Trade Mark and Design Reform Consultation

The UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) has launched a transformation program to modernize their trade mark and design services by 2025. They are currently seeking input on six proposed changes, including the introduction of an online inspection service, reducing objection rates for series trade marks, and encouraging more mediation in IPO tribunal proceedings. Digitalizing and transforming services will make IP rights more accessible, drive innovation, and boost economic growth.
